Basic Salad Dressing

* Step 1
Combine all ingredients in blender. Taste and season as needed. You can add 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice if the dressing is not zippy enough or add more oil if it is too tangy. Store in the fridge in a glass jar, tightly covered (Do not store in plastic!) but bring to room temperature and shake well before using. 158 calories/serving; GL=0, Glycals=0

Variations:
Tarragon: add to the blender 1 tbsp dried tarragon, crushed.
Cheese: add to the blender 1/3 c Gorgonzola cheese, or bleu cheese, or grated Parmesan.
Mediterranean: add to the blender 3 anchovies.
Quick Caesar: add to the blender 3 anchovies, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce and 1/2 c grated Parmesan.
