Blanched then sautéed romanesco broccoli in garlic, butter & soy sauce

Every time I look at a romanesco broccoli I think that it’s too beautiful to be eaten yet I want to eat it because is beautiful 🤩

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut and wash the romanesco

* Step 2

Blanch the romanesco broccoli, following same steps in this blanched broccoli recipe which I’ve attached

* Step 3

Remove from cold water and drain very well so you don’t get water when sautéing in the pan (like I did 😞)

* Step 4

Melt some butter in a pan on medium heat, cook chopped garlic then add the broccoli florets. Add a few drops of soy sauce, combine so each floret is nicely coated with the flavours - just 2 minutes and take off the heat. Sprinkle some chilli flakes on top. Serve and enjoy!
