Cooking instructions
* Step 1
cook bacon in a wide frying pan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until bacon is almost crisp 5 to 7 min. Transfer cooked bacon to a cutting board and chopped into pieces. Add butter to any remaining fat. When butter is melted add celery and onion. Cook for about 5 to 7 min until softened.
* Step 2
Preheat oven to 375. Add cooked vegetables and bacon to your croutons along with the cranberries and pear. Pour in enough broth to moisten the croutons. You can add poultry seasoning if you want bit I find the herbed croutons are seasoned enough. Transfer mixture to an 9x13 baking dish and loosely cover with foil.
* Step 3
Bake in center of preheated oven for 20 min. Remove foil and continue baking until top is lightly golden ,25 to 30 min more
* Step 4
Enjoyed at my house with Turkey,Chicken and Pork chops.
