Miso Burger with Soy Sauce and Ginger
Really wanted burgers today but decided to experiment with some other ingredients to see what I could come up with. This was really tasty, very different to a typical burger, and very delicious. I served these with these home made burger buns https://cookpad.com/uk/recipes/165193-baked-brioche-buns which I can really recommend
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Gather your ingredients. grate the ginger and slice your onion into thin strips
* Step 2
add the miso, soy sauce and ginger to the ground beef and gently hand-mix
* Step 3
form the beef into 4 patties
* Step 4
then add to a pre-heated pan on a medium to high heat. I tend to add a drop of olive oil, but not necessary
* Step 5
watch carefully, they will only take a couple of minutes. once you see the beef cooked half way as shown here, carefully flip your burgers
* Step 6
and add the onion to cook down in the beefy juices
* Step 7
let the burgers rest for a couple of minutes, then serve up on a delicious bun and top with the grilled onions
