Rice and Mung Dal Porridge
It's a quick and simple, nutritious and healthy breakfast.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash the Rice and Dal and add enough water to boil it. You can pressure cook it too but I love to slow cook it. Add ginger, garlic, onion powder (or you can add fresh too, it was handy so I added this today otherwise I add fresh too), carrot and beans, oil, turmeric and salt and bring to a boil, simmer and cook till everything becomes mushy.
* Step 2
When the porridge is almost cooked add the Mushroom Powder too and cook for 10 more minutes for it to cook. If it's fresh or dried mushroom add it at the beginning. At the end add the butter or ghee and mix it well. Serve warm.
