#cppassport #cppmexico #cookpad One of the popular side dish in a Mexican Platter. Generally Black Beans is popular beans in Mexican cuisine but if not available you can go with Red Kidney Beans or Rajma too.

Ingredient

Food ration :

3 servings

Cooking time :

15 minutes
1-2 tbsps

Veg oil

1/2 Tsp

Cumin powder

as per taste

Salt

2 tbsps

Lemon juice

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil and add the onion and garlic, saute for a minute and add Cumin and chilli powder, then add the kidney beans, then add salt and cook for sometime, when it's about to dry smash the beans with the back of the spoon or potato smasher. Put of the flame, add cilantro chopped and lemon juice and give a good mix.

While doing all this the moisture will dry up more so don't overdry it. Serve it with tomato rice and tortillas, guacamole etc.
