This Egyptian dessert I have prepared with my homemade leftover Rumali roti with milk, milkmaid and nuts. To give it a rich creamy texture and flavour I have used Milkmaid Condensed milk...You can make it with any flat breads, croissants etc.

1 litre

1-2 tbsp

Ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Make the rumali into small pieces and stir fry/ roast with little ghee in a Kadai with chopped mixed nuts and sprinkled cinnamon powder.

* Step 2

Boil full-fat milk, reduce it by 1/4 and add condensed milk & cinnamon powder too (don't put too much) cook a little more for 5 minutes.

* Step 3

So and then add the ghee roasted rumali and nuts and cook for more 5-10 minutes & pour it in a serving bowl.

* Step 4

The rumali roti absorbs most of the milk and becomes thick and dry consistency so use enough milk (just like the Sheer Khurma we make). Garnish with more Pistachio, almond etc (optional). It's best when served warm ☺️😋
