Rava Upma

#ind2 This dish preferably meant for breakfast. In Odisha it is served with matar ki sabji and and some parts of India it is served with chutney.

Ingredient

1 cup

Suji

1 teaspoon

chana dal

1 teaspoon

udad dal

4 tablespoons

oil

1 teaspoon

grated Ginger

1 teaspoon

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Dry roast Suji for 5 minutes then keep it aside

* Step 2

Take oil in a kadai. Add two kinds of Dal, Rae. Allowed to crackle. Add sliced onion green chillies, and Kadi Patta. Add Cashew and Ginger. After 10 minutes add two and half cups of water and salt. Once the water start boiling add Suji gradually and keep stiring. Immediately Put off the gas and cover the lid. After 2 minutes mix Upma properly and serve with ghee.
