Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a mixing bowl, put chicken, salt, black pepper powder, and lemon juice. Mix well. Next, add ginger garlic paste and mix by nicely rubbing the pieces. Next, add cornflour and egg.
Mix all well and keep aside for at least 30 minutes.
* Step 2
After that place a kadhai. Heat it with oil for frying the marinated chicken. Do not over fry, else the chicken becomes rubbery. As you find chicken is cooked and it gets a nice color, drain and keeps the fried chicken aside.
* Step 3
Next place a pan, add oil, and heat. Saute garlic. Next, add onions and green chilies. As onions are a bit translucent, add tomato. Do not overcook the tomato.
* Step 4
Next, add capsicum. Add salt, sugar, and black pepper powder. Mix all well. Cover and cook for some time. Capsicum and tomato must be cooked yet must be crunchy and must retain their colors.
* Step 5
As it's cooked, add the sauce mixture and vinegar.
* Step 6
Add chicken masala and mix well. Add the fried chicken and mix.
Let it be on slow flame for some time so that chicken absorbs the flavors.
If you want you can add a slurry of cornflour (1 tbsp mixed with 3 tbsp water). Cook till your required consistency preference.
* Step 7
It's ready, garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
