Pumpkin angoor khatta meetha chutney
This recipe is a speciality of my homestate "Odisha" so making this dish is very special.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat a pan with oil. Splutter panch phoron, mustard seeds and fennel seeds.
Add dry red chilli and fresh green chillies.
Dust some hing and add grated ginger.Saute.
* Step 2
Add the diced pumpkin.Add salt as per taste. Add turmeric and mix all well.
* Step 3
Cover and cook for sometime. As the pumpkin is almost cooked,add chopped tomato.
Cover and let them get cooked for some more time, till they become mushy.
* Step 4
As the pumpkin and tomato get get cooked nicely,mash few and make the consistency bit thick.
* Step 5
Now at this point add jaggery powder and mix.add little water and mix.
Let the jaggery melt.
The flame must be at sim.
* Step 6
Next add nicely washed seedless grapes and mix.
Cover and cook till the grapes becomes soft and absorbs the flavours.
* Step 7
As the grapes becomes softer and amalgamates with the flavours,add the tamarind pulp.
* Step 8
Cover and cook. Intermittantly stir.
* Step 9
Next add roasted dry red chilli and cumin powder.This adds to the flavours if you have made the powder fresh.
* Step 10
Mix all well and cook till you get the required consistency.
As the khatta meetha chutney becomes cool it's consistency thickens so adjust as per that.
* Step 11
Pumpkin and angoor khatta meetha chutney is ready...
Keep for sometime until it cools down a bit.Then serve.
