Jam Doughnut French Toast Sandwiches
This is a French toast sandwich that has the flavour profile of a sugared jam doughnut. My son loves these as a sweet treat! They are super sweet and finger licking good. Delicious for either breakfast or lunch.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat up a good non stick pan up over a medium high heat. As that heats take the bread and spread the raspberry jam over two slices and sandwich the other pieces on top neatly. Press down slightly.
* Step 2
Add the vanilla essence to the beaten eggs, along with a dash of milk then beat together. Pour into a dinner plate and then lay the raspberry sandwiches in the mixture, turning over once until they are completely coated and soaked through with the eggy mixture.
* Step 3
Place the sandwich (you'll probably have to cook one first, then the other), into the hot dry pan and allow to sit and fry until golden on one side, then flip over and cook the other side. Squish the sandwich down a little with the back of a spatula to get a decent crust on each side.
* Step 4
Remove from the pan and sprinkle with sugar. Cut and serve up! Enjoy. :)
