seafood curry pasta
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
chop the frozen haddock into cubes (it's easier to do this when the haddock is mostly frozen, so take it out of the freezer about 20 mins before you cube it)
* Step 2
in a deep pan, cook the haddock and the shrimp together until it is not frozen. remove the haddock and the shrimp from the pan and pour out about 80% of the juice in the pan.
* Step 3
in the same pan cook the mushrooms, tomatoes and baby spinach for about five minutes on high heat.
* Step 4
in another pan, make a white sauce using the butter, flour, milk and cheese
* Step 5
add the shrimp, haddock and white sauce to the deep pan with the tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach
* Step 6
add the teaspoon of medium curry powder to the pan and mix it all together. let it cook for about 2 minutes on high heat and simmer for a further 5 minutes on medium heat
* Step 7
cook the pasta until it is al dente (it is assumed that you know that this is where the salt and the olive oil come into play)
* Step 8
drain the pasta and put it into a deep baking dish. pour the contents of the deep pan evenly over the pasta or mix it up as you prefer.
* Step 9
if you like, spread some grated cheese on top
* Step 10
put the baking dish in a pre heated oven at 190°C for about 40 minutes.
