Dal Palak and Green Papaya Curry

Thank you @Swati for your excellent and motivating Dal palak curry recipe. I tried with only adding vegetables. Again thank you .

Ingredient

Food ration :

3-4 servings

Cooking time :

20 mins
8 cloves

garlic minced

1/2 tsp

ponch phutan

1/2 tsp

cumin powder

as per taste

Salt

1 Tbsp

oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak both the dals for 40 to 45 minutes. Boil dals,potato and papaya with required water, salt and turmeric in a pressure cooker. Release the steam naturally.

Heat oil on a kadhai. Add and allow to splutter the ponch phutan.

Mix onion and green chili. Sauté till raw smell of onion is gone.

Add ginger,garlic and tomatoes and saute on low heat till tomatoes soft and mushy.

Add cumin and pav bhaji masala and saute well.

Mix the chopped palak and cook for a minute.

Add the boiled dal and veggies mix. Adjust salt and water for gravy and cook covered for 2 minutes. The dal, palak and papaya curry is ready to serve. Thanks
