Rigatoni Burnt Onions and Beef
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat the butter and oil let it turn brown and caramelize the onion whole. Allow to breakdown as it defrost. Gradually cut the onion into chunks. Move the large chunks to cutting board and chop. You will only use half the onion and frying liquids. The rest is for another recipe.
* Step 2
Add salt and oil to the pasta water. Boil the pasta in the salty, oily, water. Brown the beef in the onion liquids.
* Step 3
Add the crushed tomatoes and spices to the beef. Simmer 15 minutes. Stir in the onions and pasta. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!!
