2 Ways: Instant Coffee-Oreo-Chocolate Mousse

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a saucepan over medium heat: Add in the aforementioned milk & sugar & a pinch of salt and allow it to come to a boil- Once it starts boiling, reduce the flame & let it cook for another few mins time

* Step 2

In the interim: In a small mixing bowl- Add in the measured cornflour with some water/milk (RT) & set aside and also, pulse in a blender jar- the Oreo biscuits (crumbled)- set aside & at the same time, the measured coffee concoction too

* Step 3

Once the milk is well cooked for about 3-4 mins time, over the low flame- Now, add in the Coffee concoction to it & stir well to get well blended- Goes in the Cornflour mixture at this point & mix everything well together until nicely combined and well incorporated

* Step 4

Post pouring in the Cornflour- We need to be continuously stirring the milk-coffee mixture so that there aren’t any lumps formed in it & we get our smooth, silky, rich & thick desired consistency for the mousse

* Step 5

Once, the Cornflour is well blended and the mixture had thickened sufficiently, turn off the flame and allow it to cool down quite a bit in order to thicken even better but before it starts cooling down- Add in the the few broken pieces of the Cadbury’s Chocolates to get dissolved in it while being hot

* Step 6

We’ll notice that, as it starts thickening: the coffee-chocolate consistency has become even more thicker, creamier & silky… Now, time to assemble the Mousse layers before refrigerating it & having it absolutely chilled- As & when, we desire to….

* Step 7

Firstly, in the Glasses/Tumblers/Shots: Put the 1st layer of the crumbled Oreos & press it gently with the spoon or a muddler very carefully & then top it up with the 2nd layer of our prepared Coffee-Chocolates Mousse Mixture and repeat the process, considering the size of your glass container & how artistically you wanna it to be served…

* Step 8

Pour it out into the desired shaped glasses/tumblers/Shots or similar…Anything of your own choice…The top or the Final layer should always be of the Mousse & then, add into it your garnishes- either with shaved chocolates, choco-chips, chocolate drizzles or anything of your choice & refrigerate it for at least 2-3 hrs time before serving it absolutely chilled & simply… ENJOY

* Step 9

In the 2nd Method: Just whip the heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks- Pour it into the piping bag & with your choicest nozzle tip cover the top base of the serving glasses & garnish it your way & it’s ready to be grabbed in no time, post refrigeration…Now, it’s just the RIGHT TIME….To, RELISH this DELISH
