Tahini Dip
One of my favourites of the Mediterranean Dips...if, I’m at all given an option to choose from the Mayonnaise & this Tahini Dips-
My preference would ALWAYS BE...
TAHINI
Ingredient
Food ration :
8-10 people
Cooking time :
20-25 mins (prep to dish)
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Over the low-medium heat lightly dry roast the Sesame Seeds until it releases a nice aroma...take care, not to burn it by any chance
* Step 2
Let it cool down for about 15 mins time before blending the same to a finer, smoother & thicker paste
* Step 3
Combine in a food processor/blender jar: The cooled roasted sesame seeds, salt & the EVOO & also the paprika & garlic (if using them)
* Step 4
Pulse it for a minute for at least 3/4 times- then, scrape its sides each time while, pulsing it to a smooth paste
* Step 5
Dish out in the serving platter & add in some more EVOO & garnish with a pinch of paprika, black & white sesame seeds, a fresh sprig of Coriander/Mint/Basil Leaves or even some dry fruits of your choice
* Step 6
If you want to store it in your refrigerator: Then, store it in an air tight glass jar/container...This can be stored for a month or so, in the fridge 💁🏻♀️
