Cured egg yolk

I have always found a interest in Japan & their food so I give one of their egg cure ago & it was tasty #basicrecipe

Ingredient

100 ml

Soy sauce

200 ml

Mirin

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Separate your egg yolks from their whites, mix you soy & mirin. Leave in fridge over night

* Step 2

Next day should look like this just give them a flip & place back into the fridge

Serve with sticky rice but I didn’t have any to hand so I have used simple egg fried rice with some chilli, ginger & spring onion

* Step 4

3 days is a total max for the cured yolk method
