Instant Pazham Dosa / Indian Style Instant Sesame Banana Pancakes

The healthy banana pancake is a wholesome delicious snack to nibble on for kids. Greasing with butter further enhances the attractiveness of these soft and succulent pancakes, which tastes best when had immediately.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan, lightly toast the sesame seeds and allow to cool. Grind the sesame seeds, crushed jaggery, and cardamom pods into a coarse powder, and keep it aside. In a large bowl, add the peeled bananas and mash coarsely with a fork, leaving them a little chunky. Add the flours & the jaggery-sesame-cardamom powder and mix well.

* Step 2

Add the milk and whisk well to form a thick batter. Leave it aside for 10 mins. Grease a heated pan with ghee. Using a ladle, pour a scoopful of the batter to the pan. Cook until bubbles start to form all over and flip over. Drizzle ghee along the sides and allow to cook until golden brown. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
