Want to jazz up your next salad or bowl? Add pickled red onions! Tangy and sweet, they're the best way to give almost any dish a pop of flavour!

Ingredient

mustard oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Place the onion in a bowl and massage to separate the layers.

* Step 2

Add the green chillies.

* Step 3

In a pan heat mustard oil.

* Step 4

Once hot, add the spices and allow to crackle.

* Step 5

Pour the tempered oil over the onions and mix well.

* Step 6

Squeeze lemon juice and mix well to coat the onions.

* Step 7

Place in an air tight container in the fridge.
