It usually consists of choice of bread, yoghurt, muffins, jam or preserves, butter, fruits and fruit juice, any egg preparation and tea or coffee. Here , I have prepared continental breakfast platter with homemade berry preserve, homemade peanut butter, homemade butter, bread and some orange wedges. Wholesome and delicious. Enjoy.

Vinegar

1 pinch

Salt

1/2 cup

Honey

1 pinch

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First, to make the mixed Berry Jam, combine all the ingredients except vinegar in a dee saucepan.

Cook on low flame till the berries and sugar are completely mixed and a thick mass is formed. It takes around 10 to 15 minutes.

Remove and cool to room temperature. Add vinegar or lemon juice and stir well. Fill in sterilized glass jars and store in fridge.

Enjoy this healthy and delicious jam within a week.

To make crunchy peanut butter, simply combine the coarse peanut mix in the smooth paste and your crunchy peanut butter is ready.

To make Butter: Collect the milk cream in a box over a week. Keep in freezer. When you want to start Butter preparation, take it out, after it reaches room temperature, add 1 tablespoon curd and mix.

Then keep overnight on counter. When the mixture is swelled up and sour, add ice cold water and churn it either in blender with churning blade attached or with electric hand blender.

Soon the butter will separate and come on top. You can strain the whey apart and collect the butter in a jar and store in refrigerator. Use as needed. For salted butter add salt and mix or add herbs or garlic to it for flavours.

To serve, grill the bread slices. Serve with orange wedges, homemade butter, berries jam or preserve, Peanut butter and tea or coffee. Enjoy delicious English breakfast.
