Everyone loves chocolates and more so in childhood. For us, homemade chocolate ( or fudge as we call it) was a treat prepared by my maushi( maasi) and it used to be finished in no time! I still prepare it and like it as much! Its very easy with just three ingredients. Brings back the childhood memories !!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, mix the milkmaid and cocoa powder in a bowl and combine well with a whisk. Then strain it through a sieve for a lump free mixture. Tip:-Use a wire whisk to press the mixture while straining. This is optional. You can go ahead without straining too.
* Step 2
Then pour in a non-stick pan and keep stirring while cooking on low heat.
* Step 3
Then add the butter, mix with a spatula and cook further till the mixture is thick and forms a lump.
Tip:- Do not leave the stove as the mixture will burn at base if left without stirring.
* Step 4
Then add vanilla, nuts and mix well. Then remove from heat. Grease a square tray with butter or oil and line well with butter paper.
* Step 5
Pour the mixture in it and press well with a flat spoon or spatula. Give cut marks in the mixture with a knife and let it set in fridge.
* Step 6
Remove after one or two hours and turn over in another tray. Remove the paper. Cut out square shapes as per the marking.
* Step 7
Serve delicious chocolate fudge and enjoy childhood memories!
