Moong Methi Pancakes (Indian Style)

Try out this easy, healthy and very delicious recipe for breakfast/ Lunch or even dinner. It has yellow moong daal, methi leaves and flavours of cumin and coriander too. I have made savoury pancakes or chilla or Dhirde with methi leaves and cooked moong daal. They tasted yummy!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, finely chop methi leaves. Heat an iron kadhai. Add oil or ghee. When it heats up, add cumin seeds.
* Step 3
When cumin pops up, add methi leaves and keep stirring and cooking on high flame. Add salt after a minute.
* Step 4
Then stir cook for another minute and turn off flame. Then add lemon juice and transfer this in a steel or glass bowl.
* Step 5
Then add all the other ingredients and mix well. Add water gradually and mix to a pouring consistency batter.
* Step 6
Then keep it for 10 minutes. Now heat a tawa. Add 1 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp water to the batter. Mix well.
* Step 7
Pour a laddlefull of batter on tawa. Spread in a thick circle. Pour oil on sides. Cover and cook till golden at base.
* Step 8
Then turn upside down and cook till the other side is golden brown too. Remove and make all the pancakes similarly.
* Step 9
Serve immediately with curd, chutney, ketchup or pickle and enjoy delicious Moong Methi Pancakes.
