It is a quick nutritious meal, when you are tired or haven't any mood to cook diffrent dishes it is always the best choice for lunch or dinner. It is made of Whole Masoor dal which is rich in protein.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First wash the masoor dal well and soaked into water for 2 hours.wash the rice and soaked into water for half hour.
* Step 2
Take a. Pressure cooker add oil and add one onion slices.fry until they turn golden brown.transfer in a bowl.now add whole spices saute 10 -15 seconds then add remaining onion slices saute until they turn light brown add ginger garlic paste at this stage.saute well.
* Step 3
Add chopped tomatoes,green chilli,,salt, coriander powder and red chilli powder mix well.add dal mix again
* Step 4
Now strain the soaked rice and add with dal.mix well.add mint leaves and two cups of water.give them a nice mix.cover the lid and pressure cook for two whistle.release the pressure naturally.open the lid. pour ghee and sprinkle the fried onion on top.garnish with coriander leaves.serve with salad and chutni.
