Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat a pan and dry roast sesame seeds till seeds start crackle.Take out and keep aside.
* Step 2
In the same pan add jaggery, and heat on medium flame till jaggery melts. Do not overheat.
* Step 3
Add ghee to jaggery. Test for the jaggery, whether it's perfectly cooked or not.
* Step 4
For this take 1/2cup water and drop some drops of jaggery into water.If jaggery do not hreaks in pieces and stuck to finger then it is not perfect for making chikki.
* Step 5
Cook jaggery for 1-2minutes more,test again.Jaggery is brittle now,and is broken into pieces easily.
* Step 6
Put off flame and add sesame seeds to jaggery. Transfer to a greased board and roll with a greased rolling pin.
* Step 7
I've sprinkled some more sesame seeds over the sheet to give the chikki a beautiful look.
* Step 8
Cut chikkies into your desired shapes,let it cool a little bit. Remove from board.
* Step 9
Till-gud chikki is ready to serve.Enjoy.
