Sesame Ginger Frittata

Not really a frittata or an omelette - I called it a frittata because I didn't want to just call it Sesame-Ginger Delicious eggs. ;)

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 servings

Cooking time :

10 minutes
1 1/2 Tablespoons

butter

1 teaspoon

sesame oil

1/2 Tablespoon

ginger root paste

1/2 Tablespoon

soy sauce

1 Tablespoon

mayonnaise

1 teaspoon

catsup

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Melt butter in nonstick frying pan on medium.

* Step 2

Cook peppers and onions in butter. If you like more spice you can add some red pepper flakes. If you do not have ginger root paste you can add fresh finely minced ginger root.

* Step 3

Whisk egg yolk, egg, sesame oil, ginger root paste and soy sauce until fully blended.

* Step 4

When onions and peppers are just tender, pour egg mixture evenly over them. Cover and cook until almost cooked through. Flip in pan, remove pan from heat. Cover and wait about a minute.

* Step 5

Prepare sauce while waiting on eggs. Mix the mayonnaise, catsup and cayenne. You may need to add a tiny bit of water to get a drizzle consistency.

* Step 6

Cut frittata in half or four triangles. Plate and drizzle with sauce. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
