Chana Dal Tadka
Good source of veg. protein very nutritious used in various forms.
Ingredient

4-5 persons
Cooking time :
30-40 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take a pressure cooker, add dal & all the given ingredients.
* Step 2
Place the lid, add water accordingly so as to keep dal a lil thick.
* Step 3
Give 6-7 whistles, lower the flame, cook it for 5-7 minutes. Let it cool, keep aside.
* Step 4
Now take a wok or pan, add ghee, heat it.
* Step 5
Add tejpatta & dalchini, saute it for a sec.
* Step 6
Add dry red chilli & zeera, saute it for a while.
* Step 7
Now add onion & coconut pcs, stir fry it till light brown.
* Step 8
Add ginger, saute it for a while.
* Step 9
Now add tomato & very little salt, sprinkle some water, stir fry it till tomato becomes mashy.
* Step 10
Add haldi, dhania & garam masala powder, stir it nicely, add lil water also.
* Step 11
Now add curd & sugar, stir it for a while
* Step 12
Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid b, cook it until ghee has oozed out.
* Step 13
Now add dal, give a quick stir.
* Step 14
Give a boil at high flame. Lower the flame now, cook it for 5 minutes.
* Step 15
Turn off the flame now, take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
