Moong and Chana Hummus on toasted bread

Moong Dal and Chana Dal(Bengal Gram) is extremely high on protein. These dals when boiled, mashed and blended with spring onions, garlic, lemon juice and olive oil makes for a great topping on toasted bread.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak moong dal and chana dal for 2 hours. After 2 hours drain the moong dal and Chana dal and put them in a container with 1 cup water, salt and crushed black pepper and cook on low heat.Once done strain them and let them cool. Once cooled,crush them in the grinder into a smooth paste and keep aside.
* Step 2
Put the spring onions in a grinder and grind them coarsely.
* Step 3
Put the coarsely grounded spring onions in a bowl. Chop garlic cloves and add them to the bowl.Now add the paste mixture of moong and chana dal into the same bowl.
* Step 4
Cut bread of your choice into slices.Flip and toast them evenly on both sides.Once done, turn off the heat and drizzle olive oil on the toasted bread.
* Step 5
Arrange the bread toasts on a serving plate and top it with the prepared moong and chana hummus.Garnish with red bell pepper curls and serve.
