Kathiyawadi khichdi

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Thoroughly Wash rice and tuvar dal,green chilli dal,daliain separate bowls. Sock them for 1 hour.

Now take a pressure cooker,add all rice n veggies. Then add turmeric powder n salt,,than add water, pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistle.

* Step 3

Now take a pan add oil n ghee in it.Add chopped onions, cloves, whole dry red chilis, bay leaves, mustard seeds and cumin seeds and wait for it to finish popping. Add asafetida once the popping is done.

* Step 4

Now add red chilli powder, garam masala,coriander powder

* Step 5

Now add boiled khichdi. Mix well,add some water.

Add chopped coriander leaves,mix well

* Step 7

Kathiyawadi khichdi is ready to serve.
