Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly, peel the skin and grate 3 large potatoes. soak grated potato for 5 minutes or till starch of potato is separated.
Drain off the grated potato and squeeze water. make sure to squeeze well, else you end up adding more flour.
* Step 2
Add 2 tbsp cornflour and 2 tbsp besan. add more if the potato contains more moisture.
* Step 3
Also add ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp cumin, 1 green chili, 2 tbsp spring onion, and ½ tsp salt.
Combine well, if the batter is watery then add besan as required.
* Step 5
Take a tablespoon full of potato mixture over hot tawa.
Spread as thin as possible, of the shape of your choice.
Now pour a tsp of oil around the corners.
* Step 6
Roast the pancake or cheela on low to medium flame.
* Step 7
Finally, serve potato cheela along with green chutney or ketchup.
