Toor Dal khichdi
Toor dal khichdi is a mixture of rice and toor dal cooked together with spices.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash dal and rice with water for 2-3 times. Soak it for 10 minutes.
* Step 2
In a pressure cooker heat ghee. Add whole spices. After few second add hing. Now add rice and dal. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
* Step 3
Add salt, sugar and turmeric powder. Stir. Add four cup of water. Mix well. Now close the lid. Cook on high flame.
* Step 4
Cook up to two whistles. Then switch off the flame. And keep it aside. Don't open the lid. After a few minutes open the lid. Serve hot with pickle, papar and raita.
