Lauki Ke Lachhe (Gulab Kand)
Lauki Laccha is a sweet which is made up of a vegetable called bottle gourd. Bottle gourd is a healthy vegetable but, it isn't too famous among the kids. To make it favourable for the kid, you should try this recipe as it will help you to make it desirable for the kids.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take one straight lauki (bottle gourd) otherwise, your lachha will not come out well.
* Step 2
Peel the lauki. Take one julienne peeler and make long lachhe. Make sure to use the only the green part of lauki. Your lachha should be green. Keep lachhas in a tray.
* Step 3
Take one thick thread and tie all lachhas from the middle and dip into water for 2-3 minutes.
* Step 4
Then take one wide pan and add sugar and water. Let the sugar melt properly. Then add a bunch of lachha and cook for 4-5 minutes from one side. After that turn it with the help of two big spoons supporting at the ends.
* Step 5
Cook these for 15-17 minutes but keep stirring it after 4-5 minutes repeatedly. When sugar dissolves and lachhas becomes transparent put the flame off and transfer it in a long plate.
* Step 6
Now they are very hot so keep spreading them with the help of a fork or spoon. When they become a little warm than with the help of your hands keep spreading them nicely. Keep them at room temperature and you will see that after some time they become a little hard. Now super delicious Gulab Kand or lauki ke Lacche are ready.
* Step 7
Tips -
Take straight and a little ripe lauki then your lachha wiil become juicy.
Tie the lachhas properly with the help of a thread. It is very important otherwise your lachhas will stick together and will not make long lachha.
When you spread them make sure to do it with very soft hands.
