Soya Chap Gravy

#boxweek2 Soya Chaap Gurry is a delicious vegetarian gravy made using Soyabean Chaap. It can be made in various ways but sharing my favorite way to make it today.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat the pan then add oil. Once it's done add soya chaap in it and frying it until golden brown in colour. Remove it from the oil and transfer it in the mixing bowl.

* Step 2

Now In the mixing bowl add remaining ingredients of marinating section, and mix it well along with fried soya chaap. Marinate it until it is added into the gravy.

* Step 3

In a pan heat the ghee, add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves and saute it half of a minute. Now add chopped onion and cook it until it's golden brown.

* Step 4

Now add ginger garlic paste, green chilli and turmeric powder and stir it well. Now add all the left spices in it and cook it until ghee separate.

* Step 5

Now add chopped tomatoes and salt mix it well and cook it 15 - 20 minutes on medium to low flame. Now add hot water when the masala starts to dry.

* Step 6

Then add marinated soya chaap and mix it well and cook it on low flame for 5 minutes. You can add more water to adjust consistency of masala gravy and then simmer for 3-4 minutes again.

* Step 7

Now in this stage add garam masala powder and kasoori methi and mix it well and still cook it for 2-3 minutes on low flame. After that switch off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves.

* Step 8

Your Soya chaap gravy is ready to eat. Serve it with chapati or rice. Enjoy.
