I've recently decided to start trying to eat more plant based and whole foods. This is what I came up with today.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Pour out the black eyed peas is medium saucepan to boil. Boil for three minutes covered.
* Step 2
After three minutes is up keep covered and cook for one hour on setting 2 or 3.
* Step 3
Once peas are nice and mushy drain water and put back on burner at medium heat.
* Step 4
Add olive oil and stir peas until they resemble refried beans. (May mash with fork if desired.)
* Step 5
Add Garlic Powder, Chili Powder, Salt and Pepper and mix thoroughly
* Step 6
You should be stirring this constantly to prevent burning your beans 😁
* Step 7
Add Shredded Cheese and mix thoroughly
