Ginger flavored Moist date cupcakes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Deseed the dates and soak them in the butter milk for 4 hours.
* Step 2
Remove the dates and place in a grinder. Add in the grated ginger and make a puree out of this.
* Step 3
Preheat your oven at 18 degrees celcius. grease your baking tin.
* Step 4
In a bigger mixing bowl, seive in the dry ingredients
* Step 5
Mix in the sugar, then the molten margarine and finally the eggs. mix
* Step 6
Add in the ground paste then the milk and mix to a smooth, thick batter
* Step 7
Pour the batter into the baking tray to 2/3 full. tap to remove excess air.
* Step 8
Bake for 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
* Step 9
Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy.
