Coffee Ginger mandazis

Ingredient

1 1/2 cups

all-purpose flour

2 tbsp

sugar

1 pinch

salt

1

egg

2 tbsp

margarine

1 cup

warm milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a mixing bowl, add in the flour, sugar margarine, salt and 2 tbsp oil. rubto a bread crumb texture.

* Step 2

Break the egg into a container. Pour in the omilk and whisk, together with the coffee and ginger

* Step 3

Pour the milk mixture into the mixing bowl with flour.

* Step 4

Knead the dough till well combined

* Step 5

Transfer the dough to a lightly dusted surface and knead for a further 5 minutes, or until soft and nor sticky

* Step 6

Transfer the dough back to a graesed container, cover and let rest for at least 20 minutes while covered

* Step 7

Heat oil in a frying pan to medium high

* Step 8

Roll out the dough to a centimeter thicknss and cut to desired shape/sizes

* Step 9

Dip the dough pieces into the heated oil and fry till golden

* Step 10

Remove and place in an underlined container,

* Step 11

Serve and enjoy with ginger tea
