Poha or flattened rice like how it’s made in Indore, khatta meetha. It's Madhya Pradesh famous dish. There is a special masala added in it called Jeeravan Masala which gives it a very unique taste.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash the poha nicely and soak in water for 2-3 minutes until it is softened, do not oversoak, drain the water from the poha and keep it aside.
* Step 2
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, once it crackle add all vegetable, cook 2-3 minute, add all spices and jeevran masala mix well.
* Step 3
Add poha mix well, add lemon juice mix it well.
* Step 4
Switch off flame, serve in a plate garnish with, pomegranate seeds, peanut and sev.
