Chickpea Flour Choc Chip Cookies

Chickpea flour is full of fiber and protein, unlike traditional flour. The goal here is to reduce processed ingredients for a healthier cookie. Enjoy!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

* Step 2

Line a large sheet with parchment paper.

* Step 3

In a bowl, mix tougher the chickpea flour, baking soda, and salt

* Step 4

In a separate bowl mix all other ingredients except the chocolate chips and nuts. Be sure to have the coconut oil warm and the honey warm.

* Step 5

Using a wooden spoon, add dry ingredients to the wet until well mixed.

* Step 6

Fold in chocolate chips /nuts

* Step 7

Spoon onto baking sheet, sprinkle a little brown sugar on top.

* Step 8

Bake for 9-12 min or until top starts to brown.

* Step 9

Cool after baking. Makes 12 cookies !
