Cooking instructions
* Step 1
For the stuffing
Heat the pan add mawa and saute on a medium flame.
* Step 2
When it's colour changes in light brown, switch off the gas.
* Step 3
Add sugar, coconut, raisins, cashew nut and cardamom powder and mix well.
* Step 5
For the covering
Take a bowl add maida and clarified butter and mix well
* Step 6
Knead to make a soft and smooth dough with the help of little amount of water
* Step 7
.. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
* Step 8
Divide the dough into equal size balls and roll out each ball into a round puri.
* Step 9
Stuff the mawa filling in it and fold it.
* Step 10
Put in a gujiya mold and shape it..
* Step 11
Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry these karanji until golden in colors
