Turmeric rice and kachumbari
My love for turmeric rice is just unstoppable and today just thought of a multi colour meal. It's lovely and delicious.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add onion in hot oil and allow to cook till golden brown.
* Step 2
Add the garlic, ginger and turmeric and stir for 2 minutes.
* Step 3
Add water twice the amount of rice. Allow to boil.
* Step 4
Add rice and allow to cook till all water evaporates.
* Step 5
For the kachumbari, mix all ingredients (carrots, tomatoes, corriader, onion).
* Step 6
Serve the rice with the kachumbari.
