Frozen Carrots

I find that the easiest way to preserve them is to freeze carrots in various amounts so that I can add them to gajrela or baked goods as I need them. I always have shredded carrots on hand if I want to make a carrot cake for dessert. * Step 1

Thoroughly wash carrots; and peel them. Shred carrots manually or with a food processor.

Portion shredded carrots into muffin tins or suitable freezer containers.
