Dried Mint
Mint is fairly rich in several nutrients – containing good amounts of vitamin A, manganese, and iron, as well as being a rich source of antioxidants. Mint is a popular ingredient in several foods and beverages, ranging from teas and drinks to sauces, salads, and desserts. While eating the plant offers some health benefits, research shows that several of mint’s health benefits come from applying it to the skin, inhaling its aroma, or taking it as a capsule.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add the mint to a bowl of water and swish it carefully. After rinsing, you could use a salad spinner to get rid of as much excess water before patting dry or go straight to patting dry.
* Step 2
Once rinsed and dried, remove the mint leaves from the stems. After rinsing and drying mint (fresh), Put the mint in a warm, well-ventilated area away from any direct sunlight.
* Step 3
Also, make sure to dry them away from sunlight as the sun causes the leaves to brown and destroys the mint essential oils. Store the dried mint into a tight container.
