Ingredient

1 1/2 cup

warm water

1 tsp

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a large bowl combine all four ingredients until no longer any dry bits in the bowl. Cover the bowl and let sit 4-12 hours (yes it is that forgiving).

When the dough is done rising it will be sticky & bubbly. Pour dough onto a well floured counter.

Gently fold edges of the dough to make a rough circle shape. Place into a bowl or proofing basket and cover, let rise 1 hour.

* Step 4

While dough is rising, preheat your Dutch oven to 450. Place dough onto parchment paper and careful place into your Dutch oven. Bake covered for 20 min. Uncover the bread and bake an additional 15-20 min on 425.

* Step 5

Remove from oven and let cool on a baking rack, wait an hour before slicing. This bread will be good for 3-4 days in an air tight container or can be frozen up to 6 months.
