Crispy Chicken Starter

My kids have just started eating chicken. Younger one is still a bit fussy so I add potatoes for her to this starter recipe. But when french fries are added to any dish.. they magically disappear. #crispychicken

Ingredient

Food ration :

serves 5 to 6 s

Cooking time :

egg

1 tbsp

cornflour

1 tbsp

maida

1 heaped tbsp

ginger chopped

1 heaped tbsp

garlic chopped

1-2 tbsp

schezwan sauce

1/4 cup

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash, pat dry and cut the chicken into thin strips.

* Step 2

Marinate the chicken with salt, red chilli powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilli sauce, lemon juice, egg, maida and cornflour. Mix well and keep aside for 15 minutes.

* Step 3

Deep fry the potatoes and set aside.

* Step 4

Next fry the chicken strips and set aside.

* Step 5

In a pan take some oil, add red chillies and let it's flavour release in the oil. Next goes in the chopped ginger and garlic. Saute well. Add the capsicum and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add schezwan sauce and saute for sometime.

* Step 6

Next add some water and let it boil. Now add the chicken and stir well on a high flame for a few minutes so that the water evaporates. Lastly add the french fries. Mix well. Serve hot as a starter.
