Caramel Cake

Ingredient

1 1/2 cup

maida

1/2 cup

oil

1/2 tsp

baking soda

1/2 cup

milk

2 tbsp (25gms)

butter

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For cake preheat the oven at 180 degree

* Step 2

Seive maida, baking soda, baking powder twice and keep aside

* Step 3

In a bowl add oil and sugar mix until the sugar dissolves and everything combined now add wet ingredients and mix gently add milk and stir to get a thick batter in pouring consistency

* Step 4

Pour the batter in a greased tin and bake for 30-40mins until the insered toothpick comes out clean

* Step 5

Allow it to cool in wire rack.meanwhile caramel sauce can be prepared

* Step 6

Sauce- Take sugar add water in a pan and let it boil in a medium flame.until the sugar dissolves and becomes slight brown

* Step 7

Then add butter and stir until the butter melts.add milk and stir with a whisk until it starts to bubble the caramel sauce is ready.remove the flame

* Step 8

And pour the cake sauce over the cake arranged in layers

* Step 9

Garnish with dry fruits
