Satpura... Seven Layer Paratha
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Knead soft dough with water and wheat flour.
* Step 2
Cover it and keep it aside for 15mins.
* Step 3
Make seven balls out of the dough and roll each ball into small puris.
* Step 4
Now you have seven puris with you.
* Step 5
Sprinkle little salt, ghee, red chilli /black pepper powder and dry atta on each puri.
* Step 6
Spread this evenly on each puri.
* Step 7
Now take one puri and put another puri on the 1st puri, press it gently with your tip of the finger tips
* Step 8
. Continue doing like this for six puris.
* Step 9
Seventh puri mirchi side should come inside.
* Step 10
Now again press the puris gently from the center with your finger tips.
* Step 11
Roll it into a big Paratha.
* Step 13
Place the Paratha on the Tava.
* Step 14
Cook the Paratha from one side, apply oil/ ghee and flip the Paratha.
* Step 15
Cook, other side of Paratha and apply ghee.
* Step 16
Roast it properly on both sides.
* Step 17
Remove the Paratha from the Tava and keep it on the rolling board.
* Step 18
Apply little ghee on the Paratha
* Step 19
Bring your palms near the Paratha and crush it little.
* Step 20
Satpura is ready to serve.
* Step 21
Each layer of the Paratha can be seen and eaten separately.
* Step 22
Satpura is ready to serve with Boondi Raita, Papad or Tea.
