Rose Petal Jam Gulkand Flavoured With Bottle Gourd Fudge Lauki /Dudhi Ki Mithai

#Jaggerytheme Lauki/Dudhi ki mithai is a delicious , melt in mouth ; traditional Indian Sweet. A fudge often made during festivals .Bottle Gourd is considered Satvik food ( food which are fresh ; juicy , light and nourshing and calmness to our body. Hence it is consumed during fasts.The preparation of halwa is very quick and easy .Gulkand is commonly used as a ingredient of Paan. Gulkand is one of the most delicious AryuVedic preparations known to mankind . Gulkand is a sweet preserve of rose petals . Today I am presenting Authentic Indian Mithai with a Twist. The distinct flavours of Lauki and Gulkand come together to make this Unique Dessert that will surprise everyone.

Ingredient

2 cups

milk

1 cup

malai

, 2 tbsp

gur

, 2 tbsp

ghee

10 gms

melon seeds

30 gms

gulkand

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Peel, wash and grate lauki.

* Step 2

In a pressure cooker put milk and lauki together.

* Step 3

Give 3 whistles.

* Step 4

Allow it to cool.

* Step 5

Check if milk is still their.

* Step 6

Add malai.

* Step 7

Keep on slow flame.

* Step 8

Go on stirring,till milk dries up.

* Step 9

Add Gulkand,elachi powder, gur, ghee and mix well.

* Step 10

Mix till gur melts completely

* Step 11

Add rose syrup.

* Step 12

Mix properly and adjust the taste.

* Step 13

Pour the mixture on a greased tray.

* Step 14

Garnish with sunflower /melon seeds.
