Whole-wheat flour fara / peetha

Fara is very famous food of chattisgarh . Generally it has made with rice flour but I have used whole wheat flour in this recipe .
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First for dough - in a big bowl take whole wheat flour,then add salt and mix well. Now make a soft dough by using water.Cover it and keep it aside.
* Step 2
Fir stuffing - take soaked chana dal,wash it and drain it.
* Step 3
Now in a grinder,take soaked chana dal,add garlic cloves,ginger,cumin seeds and green chilli.Grind it coarsely.
* Step 4
Now in a coarse grind dal,add coriander leaves,garam masala powder,turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Mix all ingredients well.Stuffing is ready. Keep this aside.
* Step 5
Now take dough and make equal size balls with it. Now take a ball and roll it with rolling pin make a disk shape. Now put 1 tbsp stuffing on it.
* Step 6
Now fold it and make semi circle.Repeat this process with remaining balls. Faras are ready to boil.
* Step 7
Now in a wide pot add water,when water starts boiling,add salt,now add faras into this water and cook until they starts floating up.
* Step 8
Now take out these faras and let them cool down. Now cut them into small pieces.
* Step 9
For tempering - in a pan add oil,add cumin seeds and sesame seeds.When seeds starts crackle then add curry leaves now add faras and cook for about 5 minutes. Serve hot with green chutney.
