Palak ka kapa
#winter Palak ka kapa is winter dish of himachal pradesh .
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First in kadai / pan add 2 tsp mustard oil and heat ot for about 2 minutes. Now add cumin seeds and chopped green chilli. Cook for 1 minute. Then add chopped spinach leaves. Add salt as per taste.Cover it and cook for 5-6 minutes.then press spinach with liddle and make fine paste and cook it on medium flame.
* Step 2
Meanwhile in a bowl take gram flour or rice flour and make fine paste with water.
* Step 3
Now add this gram flour mix into spinach and mix all ingredients well. Cook it until 5-7 minutes.
* Step 4
Now add turmeric powder, garam masala powder and cloves powder. Then add about 3 cups of water and cover it and cook it for about 7-8 minutes.kapa is ready.
* Step 5
Now for tempering -take a saprate pan add 2 tsp clarified butter /ghee.Add asafetida and chopped garlic. Saute it for 1 minutes.now pour this tempering on palak kapa. Palak kapa is ready to serve. Serve hot with roti.
