Homemade Falafel

Homemade Falafel

Falafels are deep fried round balls traditionally found in Middle Eastern cuisine, Made from ground chickpeas..

Ingredient

Food ration :

10 to 12 servin
6 cloves

garlic

1/4 tsp

cumin seeds

1 pinch

soda powder

to taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak chickpeas overnight in water. Next morning, drain the water and in a grinder add chickpea, chopped onion, chopped garlic,cumin seed, chopped coriander leaves grind it into coarse paste.

* Step 2

Take it out in a bowl.Add salt, soda and 1 tsp rice flour.(It's optional).. Mix very well. Make falafel balls out of the dough.

* Step 3

Heat oil.. When oil is hot fry these falafel till golden brown in colour on low to medium flame..

* Step 4

Serve hot falafel with hummus.
