Sweet Jam Filled Pastries
This recipe is my own twist between my Stepfather's "Polish Kolaczki" cookie recipe & a homemade cinnamon roll recipe that is from my Grandmother on my Father's side. 👨❤👵 I love the "Sweet Hawaiian" flavor from Pillsbury & I had a bit of leftover strawberry-lemon jam, apricot preserves, & pumpkin butter that I needed to use up. This was a perfect breakfast for the children! They loved them & referred to them as "filled donuts!" 😏👍 This recipe can be "multi-seasonal" depending upon the flavor of the dough & filling ingredients used. 👏🥳👏

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Preheat oven according to crescent roll instructions. Lightly grease a small baking sheet & place unrolled dough flat onto baking sheet or pan.
* Step 2
Then, using a spoon spread your filling(s) onto each piece of dough. (I put about 2-3 tbsp of filling on each & it got a bit messy. 🙄🤦🏻♀️ Definitely use less, about 1-2 tbsp depending on what kind of filling(s) you are using.👍👌😄)
* Step 3
Next, roll them up into crescents as best as you can, or any way that you like, (or can, 🤣 These babies get slippery & it's a little tricky to keep the filling from oozing out, especially if you've filled them too full as I did!) When finished, sprinkle cinnamon & sugar mixture lightly onto the tops of each of your pastries.
* Step 4
Bake in the oven for 20-30 mins or until dough is cooked all the way through & pastries have reached your preferred level of golden brown. Let cool. Serve Warm & Enjoy!
